Chris Brown had higher hopes for his latest album titled ’Breezy.’ The R&B icon released the project on June 24th and it consisted of 24 tracks featuring artists such as Lil Durk, Lil Wayne, H.E.R., Jack Harlow and Tory Lanez.
Brown’s album debuted No. 4 on the Billboard 200 but that wasn’t enough for him. He released an Instagram post on July 3rd stating he had the deluxe version of his latest album coming along with his thoughts on the matter.
“July 8th breezy deluxe album,” he wrote in his Stories. “Not that it matters…SEEMS LIKE YALL ONLY INVEST IN THE NEGATIVE STORIES ABOUT ME. CHRIS GETS IN TROUBLE (THE WHOLE WORLD IS ON it). Chris drops album [crickets]. I’m back on my gangsta shit. It’s BRACKING at all times.”
What Does He Mean by ‘BRACKING?’
We’re very interested to see what Chris means by this as he has been in trouble with the law and arrested several times over the years. In January 2019, Chris Brown was 33 years old when was arrested in Paris. The young artist allegedly met a woman at club Le Crystal on January 15th. Brown then allegedly invited the woman back to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel where she claimed to be sexually assaulted by him.
December of 2020, Chris Brown was accused of raping another woman on her yacht in Miami. When the woman filed a civil lawsuit to sue Brown for $20 million, the young artist showed text messages to the Miami police department revealing that everything between this woman and Chris was completely consensual. The woman claimed she was unaware of the text messages. But they were enough for her attorney to drop the case against Brown. He now plans to counter sue the woman for defamation.
