A New Indictment Filed
Young Thug’s fans are already concerned by the case stacked against him. Additionally, a new report suggests he’s facing new charges and even more legal trouble. The RICO case involving rappers Young Thug and Gunna is still ongoing. The group has been accused of robberies, assaults, and murder. Young Thug has been named as an alleged leader.
Young Thug and Gunna have both adamantly denied the allegations against them, and their legal teams are adamant about proving their innocence. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has reportedly filed a new indictment against the rappers who have been denied bail after being incarcerated.
Details of Young Thug’s Charges and Yak Gotti
Young Thug, who is already facing charges for criminal street gang activity and conspiracy, now reportedly” includes all 28 defendants from the May indictment and still focuses on YSL, an organization allegedly founded by Williams and two others.” The new charges are reportedly only against Young Thug and four other defendants. Young Thug, “now faces a new gang charge, new drug charges, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a machine gun,” first reported by WSBTV.
Another defendant, Yak Gotti, was a name that was mentioned in the report as well. Yak Gotti was hit with a machine gun charge. Yak Gotti is an artist, “not a criminal” his lawyer stated about the rapper.
Young thug & Gunna’s cases are scheduled for trial next year, 2023.
