The Toronto native, NAV, has been on quite the hiatus from the music scene. But has recently announced his return, which is sooner than you might think. On Monday, June 27th, Nav took to Twitter to announce his new album, ‘Demons Protected By Angel’. This album is slated for release on July 29th.
NAV’s New Album:
NAV’s upcoming record will serve as his fourth studio album and will follow ‘Good Intentions,’ which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in 2020. According to a press release, the XO rapper has special plans that can be experienced on social media during the days leading up to his newest project’s release.
Nav has been here before:
Nav’s last project, ‘Emergency Tsunami,’ was released in November 2020 as a mixtape produced entirely by super producer, Wheezy. There’s not much detail on the upcoming project’s lineup. But NAV is hoping to see the same success from his last two solo releases.
With ‘Good Intentions’ peaking at No. 1, NAV had the same success with his studio album, ‘Bad Habits’ back in 2019, which gave the 32-year-old his first-ever chart-topper. NAV fans now have a long month’s wait for this project to drop.
