As Lil Uzi Vert faced a potentially disastrous situation on the weekend with a female fan. He made use of his relationship with City Girls rapper JT to stay out of it. The Philly Native posed for a quick video clip with a fan outside Rolling Loud. The fan wasn’t understanding why Uzi was being so reserved.
“We cute or whatever, why are you so shy,” she asked with a laugh.
As he knew the clip could be used against them and potentially damage their relationship, the 26-year-old admitted he was dating JT. The girl in question claims, in her caption for the video, that she did not know Uzi and JT were dating at the time.
“Pls I forgot Uzi was with JT,” she wrote.
Fans of either Uzi or JT know the two have spent a lot of time together throughout the summer even though they have had problems in the past.
At Wireless Festival across the pond earlier this month, Lil Uzi Vert attended the performance of City Girls. At the Yo Gotti & Friends concert in Memphis, Uzi invited JT to perform.
“Where my baby at? Bring my wifey out! Come here, baby,” Uzi said.
The Red & White EP, featuring five solo tracks mostly recorded in 2017, marked Uzi’s return to music.
