Lil Uzi is creating mass hype this summer with his upcoming EP called ‘Red & White‘. On July 20th, he dropped a new song called ‘Flex Up’ with producer that already has history with Lil Uzi, Maaly Raw.
The single was released exclusively on SoundCloud, which is not the first time Uzi chose to do this. It makes sense for him, as this platform led to the blossom of his career way before the mainstream days. The new song was previewed back in 2017 and gives off a very vintage Uzi vibe.
Among some of the lyrics of the song, Baby Pluto raps, “I had to spend like I’m Kobe (Ayy). Had to hit three like I’m KD (KD). I put the bezzel on Rollie/Flood that whole thing like an AP.”
Lil Uzi and Maaly Raw Go Way Back:
Maaly Raw and Lil Uzi Vert have established chemistry in the studio. Making platinum hits such as ‘Money Longer’ and ‘444+222’ and many more.
In a livestream back in November of 2021, Maaly Raw teased a reunion with Lil Uzi and mentioned, ”We working. I know y’all not hearing any snippets or nothing, but just know we’re working.”
Although there is no set release date for the Philly rapper’s upcoming EP, his recent splurge of drops hints that he’s aiming to let it go soon.
