Lil Tjay Emergency Surgery:
Lil Tjay has been unconscious since he had to undergo emergency surgery Wednesday (June 22). However, it is reported by TMZ sources that the young icon is awaiting a CAT scan to see how much damage his body took from the shooting. Tjay did have a moment when he moved his leg, but nothing other than that since the surgery.
Three men captured from incident at Chipotle:
The shooting occurred at a Chipotle Restaurant on the 22nd of June around midnight. The incident injured a second victim but their identity hasn’t been released yet. Three men were quickly captured and brought in, believed to be involved in the shooting.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office identified Mohamed Konate to be the shooter. Konate tried to rob Lil Tjay and two of his friends outside the local Chipotle in New Jersey. He shot Tjay multiple times and one of his friends just once. Mohamed Konate has been charged with three counts of first-degree attempted murder. Konate did not act alone either. Finally, The other two suspects were charged with second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.

Casanova, Tjays fellow rapper wrote on social media while incarcerated, “N-gga you know better!!! Praying for you from my jail cell lil bro. You gonna be alright tough times don’t last long only tough people do. And you a bad mother f**ka!!! When you get out stop by the crib and pick that bullet proof up!!! @liltajy.”
