Last month, Lil Reese was arrested for aggravated assault against a family member. Harris County Jail records show he was originally booked on May 19th. Then shortly after that, he was denied bond. 5 days later on May 24th, he got his bond set at $60,000 and he was never able to post it.
Lil Reese, who is 29, is expected to appear in court on August 16th. If Lil Reese fails to post bond, he will be behind bars for at least another month and a half.
Lil Reese arrested a year ago for domestic battery:
Just over a year ago, Lil Reese was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. The Chicago native got into a physical altercation with his girlfriend. This arrest also took place in May when police were called to his home after people called reporting a fight.
When police showed up, Lil Reese’s girlfriend had noticeable cuts on her lip. His girlfriend accused him of pulling her hair and punching her in the face with a full fist. Lil Reese was arrested on the spot and taken into custody with a bond set at $10,000 which he was able to post.
Lil Reese claims the accusations are false:
He told Fucious TV that the charges were fake. “That shit was fake. That was just an argument going on. Someone seen us arguing and called the police, so when the police came they already knew who I was. So they were like ‘Aight, we finna just lock him up'”.
