Lil Durk Taking a Break After Onstage Injury

On Saturday, Lil Durk performed at Lollapalooza, and things did not go as planned. Durk was struck in the face after walking into two explosions onstage during his set. He took a few seconds to gather himself before finishing his performance.

However, it appears that Lil Durk was more injured than he let on. In an Instagram post this morning, Lil Durk stated that he would be taking some time to improve. The rapper included a photo of his face after the accident in what appears to be a medical facility. He is wearing a bandage over his right eye in the photo.

“Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza…I’ma take a break and focus on my health,” Durk wrote on Instagram. “I finished my performance for my fans yesterday. Thank you very much.” He concluded the message to his fans with a blue heart emoji. Fans expressed their sympathy for the artist in the comments, showering him with well-wishes.

Lollapalooza Continued with more Star-studded acts

Lil Durk’s set was just one of many notable performances at the Chicago festival so far. Jhené Aiko flaunted her baby bump alongside her boyfriend Big Sean. Big Sean took to Twitter after their performance to thank their fans. “Best part of today was seeing our baby in Momma’s belly and you all showing so much love on stage,” he wrote.

Cordae, on the other hand, attracted attention for an entirely different reason. He stole the show with his “civil war general” beard during his set. The look perplexed fans, and Cordae himself was amused by the reactions.
