A billboard advertising Lil Baby’s new album was noticed and posted on social media, featuring the Atlanta rapper declaring “I’m Coming” in bright white text.
While it’s not known the billboard’s location yet, blogs and fans believe this means that a new Baby album is coming soon. Also, the 27-year-old lyricist released two brand new songs titled “Right On” and “In a Minute” earlier in the month. He’s also previously revealed on Instagram Stories that summer 2022 will be his to take.
“This summers mine,” the rapper posted his Story on March 13. In this story was an image of him with vast piles of cash. But the declaration was intended to apologize to his Drip Harder partner Gunna. But Gunna had earlier declared that the summer was his to take.
The last time fans were treated to Lil Baby was on his 2021 Lil Durk collaboration, the Voice of the Heroes. This album featured appearances from Meek Mill, Travis Scott, and Rod Wave. The album landed the #1 position on the Billboard 200 in its first week. Approximately 150,000 album-equivalent units were sold, most were derived from streams.
The final solo album, Baby’s, came from his critically-acclaimed debut, My Turn, released in 2020. The album included appearances by Gunna 42 Dugg, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Moneybagg Yo, Young Thug, and Rylo Rodriguez. It was among the biggest releases of the year. Finally, in February, it was certified platinum 4x through the Recording Industry Association of American (RIAA). Without a doubt, with the hype the he is bringing, Lil Baby’s New Album has potential to do the same numbers. Be on the lookout.
