Lil Baby Drops 2 New Singles

Lil Baby has solidified his name as a top rapper in the music industry. His latest album, “My Turn,” was certified 4x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). “My Turn” featured some of Baby’s biggest songs, including “Emotionally Scarred,” “Heatin Up,” and “Sum 2 Prove”. The album dropped on February 28th, 2020, which was his biggest project yet.

Baby looks to continue his reign throughout the summer of 2022. Lil Baby recently dropped two new singles, “Right On” and “In A Minute,” in anticipation of a massive year.” Fans have been raving over these two singles. He has gathered over two million views on YouTube alone in the few short hours that he dropped this new body of work. Well-shot music videos accompany both singles.

In “Right On,” Lil Baby elegantly describes his relationship with women, runs up his bank account, and gives his fans financial advice. He opens himself up to his fans by delivering well-thought-out lyrics over a melodic beat. Infamous producer ATL Jacob produced the song. Lil Baby is seen driving through the hood in a plethora of white Rolls Royce in the music video. The police are trailing him as they flash their light at him. The video shot by Shaq Gonzoe is an excellent indication of the lyrics and theme behind “Right On.”

“In A Minute” takes a more direct approach. Lil Baby reflects on the trials and tribulations he has gone through. He also touches upon what it took for him to be in the luxurious position he is in today. The song’s beat is sampled from Drake and Jay-Z’s hit song “Pound Cake.” He is shot on a private plane throughout most of the music video, in the jewelry store and the club.

Lil Baby certainly made a massive statement to the rest of the industry with these two singles. This was his first solo drop since his album “My Turn.” It is unclear if these recent drops indicate a new Baby album. However, he had multiple tweets on March 14th that may indicate a new album.
