Kyrie Irving Speaks Out About Kendrick Lamar’s Vaccine Lyric’s

During the 2021-2022 season, NBA player Kyrie Irving played only 29 games. This was due to the fact he refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine. Because of this, he was noncompliant to certain NBA protocols. Kendrick Lamar’s song ‘Savior’ in his newest album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, Kendrick mentions Kyrie’s stance on COVID.

Kendrick’s verse about Kyrie:

“Seen a Christian say the vaccine mark the beast. Then he caught COVID and prayed to Pfizer for relief. Then I caught COVID and started the question Kyrie. Will I stay organic or hurt in this bed for two weeks”? Kendrick stated.

Kyrie Irving was found on the red carpet of the 2022 BET Awards in Los Angeles late last month. Kyrie Irving was asked about Kendrick Lamar dropping his name in ‘Savior’.

“That’s art man. It makes a good conversation”. Irving said that he has not spoken to Kendrick since the release.

Kyrie back in Brooklyn:

Recently, Kyrie Irving opted back into his 36.5 million dollar deal with the Nets. It would be a huge surprise if Kyrie actually stays in Brooklyn after the announcement of Kevin Durant wanting out. Kevin Durant requested a trade days after Kyrie opted back into his deal.

Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat are all interested in Kyrie.

Finally, Kendrick Lamar has been getting great feedback on is latest album. Kendrick recently just closed out the Glastonbury festival in the United Kingdom. Kendrick closed the show will a call for women’s rights.
