Coming out of Lansing, Michigan, rising artist J Chase got a head start in his career when he was blessed enough to tour with major artists such as Cardi B, Big Sean, Kodak Black, and Bun B. Chase’s love for music began at an early age. He grew up watching his father play the piano, drums, and organ and always felt inspired when watching him. However, his professional career began after watching a close friend perform a freestyle to Luniz’s hit song ‘I Got Five On It’ in front of hundreds of people. This inspired him to start a career of his own.
Making Waves in The Industry
Though J Chase is an independent artist, he’s still managed to make waves in the music industry. His inspiration to continue down his path to stardom comes from major artists such as Joyner Lucas, Big Sean, and Drake. However, his ideal collaboration is a tie between Superstar Rapper Drake and fellow Michigan native Big Sean. When listening to his music, J Chase wants his fans to feel motivated and have a sense of relatability to his music.
J Chase is working endlessly in the studio on his soon-to-be hit single ‘Blessed’. The single is set to release soon and will outline all of the blessings one receives in life. The video is directed by Victor Manuel, D’Kwon Guerrero, and Monte Wilson. The three rising directors also filmed five more videos set to release later this year.
