Gucci Mane Advocates For Young Thug and Gunna’s Freedom

Gucci Mane releases songs whenever he pleases. On June 29th, he dropped the gritty, “All Dz Chainz,” which features a cameo from Lil Baby. Before handing the mic over to Guwop, the 4PF boss sets the mood by flexing about his life of luxury. Gucci Mane then takes the chance to pay tribute to the late Trouble, demand the release of YSL’s Gunna and Young Thug, as well as his 1017 Records musicians Foolio and Pooh Shiesty.

Guuci Mane shouts out Young Thug:

“Don’t get shot on the interstate, your girlfriend hyperventilate/R.I.P. to Trouble and free Thugger and free Gunna too (Thug). While you at it, free the Mayor Foo and free my n*gga Pooh.” He raps over the track by Lil Wayne.

Gucci doesn’t waste a single bar before addressing the contentious issue of rap lyrics being used as evidence against musicians in court. Gucci Mane thinks it is unfair that Young Thug has lyrics being used against him.

“The DA bring up lyrics in the court, may not be even true. And try to pen some shit next to your name that you ain’t even do,” he explains.

Gucci Mane and Lil Baby:

Given that Gucci Mane and Lil Baby are both getting ready to release summer albums, it is unclear what project “All Dz Chainz” will be on. Both Thugger and Gunna are expected to be in jail in Georgia until the start of their trials. The YSL RICO trial begins in January 2023.
