Atlanta rapper, Future looks to mark another stamp on his illustrious career. Over the past year and a half, Future has remained relatively quiet. His last album release was on May 15th, 2020. “High Off Life” was a major success and earned the rapper the honor of going platinum. “High Off Life” sold 153,000 album-equivalent units within its first week. Finally, Future looks to break his little hiatus as he teases fans with a new upcoming album.
In fact, Future took to Twitter to announce important news to his fans. First, he hinted at a new album when he tweeted, “Getting ready to DROP.” This would mark Future’s 9th career album, and fans couldn’t be more excited.
Although he hasn’t released many details about the project, we know Kayne West is working alongside Future. He said in a statement, “Ima have album date this week jus holdup… YE SPAZZED ON DIS SHIT,” The duo have worked with each other numerous times. Their first project together was Future’s single “I Won” back in 2014.
Over the years, they’ve formed a close relationship. Kayne’s most recent album ‘Donda 2’ Future, was featured on the song “Happy.” They both have similar musical styles, which complement each other beautifully. It is guaranteed to be a significant hit whenever these two jump on a track together.
Yesterday, fellow rapper Young Scooter also chimed in on the matter. He posted a story on his Instagram of a behind-the-scenes look at an ongoing music video shoot. In the video, it is visible that Future and Kayne West were seen alongside each other. They were both shot in black leather coats vibing on the set.
Young Scooter added, “@future @kaynewest THIS TO HARD IM ABOUT LEAK IT ALBUM SOON.” Young Scoot is an Atlanta rapper who’s formed a terrific relationship with Future. They have done a plethora of projects together in the past.
