After a Break in 2019, Drake takes Ovo Festival Back to Toronto. After some slight teasing Drake announced on July 13th he’d be making a “Big Announcement” on Social Media. The Canadians are set to kick off the festivities on July 28th. Lil Wayne and Da Baby will follow that up with a headline performance on the 29th. All in rolling out the red carpet for what will be a historic reunion between Drake and Young Money on August 1st.
What does this mean you ask? Drake, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne will take the stage together most likely for the first time in years.
Drake wrote this on Instagram. “October World Weekend, I am currently working on bringing OVO Fest around the world in 2023 for the 10th anniversary but of course, we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!!, More announcements to come. Tickets on sale Friday on @ticketmaster.”
With a surprise appearance at British rapper “Daves” performance at Toronto venues history back in May. Drizzy suggested he would bring OVO Festival back this Summer after some “Knife talk.”
“I love you with all of my heart, they let the city back open, So I will see you at OVO Fest soon,” Drizzy Added.
Drake’s Life Lately:
After an incredibly busy past three months as well as rolling out a brand new dance album ‘Honestly Never Mind’ in June OVO frontier master has been hard at work with music video production. Creating videos for the likes of “Massive,” and “Sticky,” as they begin to dominate Summer radio. The announcement came Tuesday after drake thanked his fans for all their support.=
