Doja Cat Goes In On Fans Criticizing Her For Shaving Her Head

Following criticism for shaving her head recently, Doja Cat has responded.

As she reminded her critics of some of her biggest accomplishments, the singer/rapper tweeted on Sunday (August 14) that people who “live in their mother’s basement” want her to look “f*ckable.”

Doja tweeted, “I won a grammy and traveled the fucking globe i’ve had a #1 and i went platinum”. “I make hit after hit after hit and you all want me to look f*ckable for you so that you can go home and jerk your c*cks all day long while you live in your mothers basement. Go f*ck yourselves.”

In response to a fan who told her to stop posting on social media and focus on music, Doja Cat came back with a counter argument.

She said, “You’re so miserable that you have to label yourself as a ‘we’”. “You aren’t part of any collective. You’re just another asshole that doesn’t know how to read a room.”

During an Instagram Live on August 4, Doja Cat debuted her new haircut for the first time. Furthermore, she shaved off her eyebrows while streaming live.

At the time, Doja Cat said, “I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway”. “I don’t like having hair, I never liked having hair, I cannot tell you one time since the beginning of my life that I’ve ever been like, ‘This is cool’. I just do not like to have hair.”

She went on to say, “I just can’t believe it took my this long to be like, ‘Shave your fucking head.’ Because first of all, I don’t wear my hair out. You guys have seen me wear my natural hair out, I had like two eras where my hair would be out, like I would straighten it. There was a moment where it was natural and I don’t even wear it natural because I don’t feel like it. It’s just a fucking nightmare, dude. I’m over it. I’m really liking this.”

She replied to fans who expressed concern about her mental health saying, “I’m doing dandy.”
