Long-time friends/partners Big Sean & Jhene Aiko were spotted in Beverly Hills, California on July 3rd where photos surfaced as the public got its first look at Jhene Aikos baby bump. After photos surfaced Sean after that day took to his Instagram to celebrate the pregnancy and reveal he can’t wait to experience fatherhood.
“Whole new motivation foreal!” he wrote. “Very grateful God continues to bless us, Thank you. Can’t wait to be a Dad.”
Last month was the first we had heard of the possible pregnancy when a fan saw Jhene shopping in Whole Foods and stated that she had looked “very pregnant”. This was the first time rumors had been confirmed 100%.
Big Sean opens up about past experiences:
Big Sean opened up about his partner suffering a miscarriage in his 2020 song ‘Deep Reverence‘. He rapped “Should be a billionaire based on the time off I’m not takin’. Probably why this shit with me get crazy and we lost baby”. Speaking to ‘Sway in the Morning’, he confirmed he was referring to his relationship with Jhene.
During a 2015 interview with The FADER, Big Sean despite admitting he was a “mamas boy” talked about having a healthy relationship with his own father. “It was great,” he said about his relationship with his dad. “My mom and my dad were split up. But they were friends and they got along in honor of me and my brother. He took us to school a lot, and spent time with us. Always made an effort. Everybody doesn’t have a da, you know? Especially where I’m from. I’m lucky to have a great mom and a great dad. Even though they’re not together. It’s funny because my dad always felt like he could talk to me, even when I was a little kid. When he’d take me to school, he’d be telling me about his life. I thought that was cool.”
