Get To Know Tae Wilson

Set to drop this September with fellow friend and artist Reggie Street, Tae Wilson is trying new things and is excited to do his first collab mixtape. The two creators have been working very hard on this project and are eager to motivate and inspire their audience. Hard work is not something new for Tae Wilson.

Growing up in Baltimore, Tae had to work hard and stay focused from the get-go. He says he is from a city where violence was too common. He speaks about that because it helped him develop into the man and father he is. After seeing family members and friends dead or in jail and knew he wanted more out of life. When he gave his music all he had, he felt like he was finally going down the right path. He put God and his music first and didn’t let his environment dictate how he would live his life.

Moving to Atlanta, Georgia, was Tae Wilson’s best move. Music was his way to get out of the streets. He used his music as a stress reliever and motivated him to get into music to support his family. As Tae got older, the more trials and tribulations he went through and the more blessings he received. With music catching steam, he never looked back.

Big Things For Tae

Last year in 2021, Tae Wilson inked his first distribution deal with Worldstarhiphop as their first official artist. He put out a project called “Closer Than Ever” under the label, which captivated the interest of many. When people listen to his music, Tae hopes that people get inspired. He wants to be a walking example that no matter how challenging your situation is in life, you can make it. He is the voice of the underdogs and has a lot of depth and meaning behind his lyrics that tell his story.
His most outstanding achievement has been performing in Marian Arena in Baltimore for the first time. He opened up for Lil Boosie, which was a dream come true for him. he mentions how so many great artists have touched that stage, and he is blessed to have been able to do the same.

The multi-talented artist hopes to soon get some work in with Lil Durk. He has some plans in the works that you won’t want to miss out on. Follow Tae Wilson on Instagram here and; check out his streaming catalog below.
